David Walton, head of employment at Stockport law firm Gorvins, will be advising finance, HR and payroll personnel on recent law and tax updates at a free seminar on Thursday 28th November.
The seminar, which is being held at the Etrop Grange Hotel from 8.45am to 11.45am, is being run by Harts Chartered Accountants, in conjunction with The Chartered Institute of Payroll Professionals (CIPP).
The session is designed to help employers understand recent and proposed changes and how they will impact on business. It will cover legislative changes, including anoverview of the rules of automatic enrolment. It will also explore ways in which employers can mitigate the cost and increased administrative burden of the these changes, as well as providing a general update on employment taxation and law and looking at how employers can explain these changes to employees.
David Walton said: “This session is free to attend and will arm employers with the facts about upcoming changes to the law and how they can effectively manage the impact on their business.”
