When acting for financial institutions this work can include drafting and negotiation loan and other facility agreements covering overdrafts, term loans, revolving credit facilities, overseeing the lenders security such as debentures, personal guarantees and legal charges over property as well as intercreditor deeds and deeds of priority governing the ranking of security between multiple lenders.
When acting for companies looking to raise finance this work involves advising companies on ways to raise money through a plethora of different options from traditional debt funding through to equity funding from investors via alternative finding methods which have become more common practice in the marketplace since the financial crisis.
