    Gorvins Solicitors Charity round up 2023

    As the year draws to a close, it’s once again time to reflect on our year of fundraising in 2023 for Gorvins’ charities of the year.  Our chosen charities were Prevent Breast Cancer and the Alzheimer's Society, two very special charities. This year we have raised an amazing £12,000 split between our two charities, going a little way towards helping them to continue their fantastic work.  In doing so, we’ve had lots of fun and made some fantastic memories.

    Gorvins solicitor, Gary Boyd has secured a record non- freezing cold injury (NFCI) settlement for an undisclosed client. Damages of £920,000 were achieved .We’re not aware of a larger settlement concerning an NFCI claim. Gorvins acted on behalf of the Claimant who after serving for 10 months in the British military, suffered a non- freezing cold injury (of which one type is ‘ trench foot’).
