Gorvins solicitors have promoted Nicola Fraser to be its new Head of Family and Matrimonial law.
Having worked in this area of law for nearly three decades, Nicola brings a wealth of experience to her new role in this busy department.
In addition to expertise, Nicola emphasises the bespoke service which the team offers.
“Divorce is a challenging time in so many ways – in terms of the financial implications, arrangements for children, or simply the sheer emotional strain. That’s why it’s so important for people to see the same lawyer every time.
‘The one-to-one service provided by Gorvins is dedicated to this approach – providing peerless legal advice and stability for clients at a time when they are experiencing great change and uncertainty. In fact one of my first moves as head of department will be to recruit more talented lawyers to join our busy team”.
Aside from her duties with Gorvins, Nicola has also provided lectures, training and assistance to Public sector organisations including the Police, Local Authorities and charities.
Martin Hoare, Gorvins’ Managing Partner, added: “Nicola is an immensely experienced matrimonial and family lawyer whose legal talent, flair for unravelling financial matters and reputation as a no-nonsense litigator is matched by tremendous empathy and common sense. She is a huge asset to the firm and to the many clients who seek her services”
After reading law at the University of Kent, Nicola, who lives in the Heatons and hails from Didsbury, completed her training at Manchester Law School. Born in Didsbury, she was formerly a partner at Linder Myers.
Meanwhile, away from work, Nicola likes country walks, foreign travel and dancing.
Gorvins family and matrimonial legal services include divorce and relationship breakdown, children matters, financial and property matters and civil partnership dissolution amongst many other specialisms.
