About Christian
Christian has been with Gorvins since joining as a trainee solicitor. After qualifying in 2003. He is now one of the equity partners. He specialises in leading high value complex corporate transactions including acquisitions, disposals, joint ventures, management buy-outs and private equity across a variety of sectors including healthcare, manufacturing, recruitment, technology, entertainment and leisure, predominantly in the owner managed/SME sector. He also advises on all aspects of commercial contracts and is the Gorvins lead on GDPR/data protection and associated matters having regularly lectured on this subject and been quoted in various national publications such as The Times on GDPR matters.
He also heads up the dedicated Family Business Team here at Gorvins providing holistic advice to a range of family businesses across the country with a particular emphasis on succession planning and he works extensively with family business support organisations Family Business United and The Family Business Community.
Christian also works extensively within the local business community holding the position of non-executive director at Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce (the largest Chamber of Commerce in the UK), as well as being the immediate past Chair of the Stockport Economic Alliance and a past Stockport President of Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce. Christian was also a co-founder of Gander Careers, a local initiative in Stockport to bring business and education together to enable students to gain real life experience of career options post-education.
