Gorvins Solicitors has advised the shareholders of Organon Trustees on the company’s acquisition by K3 Advisory Group. Acting on behalf of the sellers, Gorvins supported the Organon Trustees shareholders throughout the transaction process, providing legal advice and working alongside K3 Law (the legal representatives of K3 Advisory Group) to help guide the deal through to successful completion.
The acquisition marks a significant step for K3 Advisory Group, strengthening its Wealth Management division, which already oversees more than £1bn in assets. Organon Trustees, headquartered in Stockport, has built a thriving business specialising in self-invested pension solutions, including SIPPs and SSASs. Its strong reputation for delivering tailored services to high-net-worth individuals and business owners made the acquisition an attractive proposition for the buyers.
Founders Adrian McKinnell and Marc Gwynne will remain with the business following completion of the acquisition, ensuring continuity for clients and preserving the expertise that has underpinned Organon’s growth and reputation within the pensions sector.
