It may have been a cold start but the fundraising efforts at Gorvins are a hot topic.

It was a polar swim that kicked off the fundraising efforts at Gorvins Solicitors this weekend.

Four brave volunteers took on the challenge of an open water swim at ‘Boundary Water Park – Open Water Swimming Venue’ for their first swim of the year.

For three of the four, this was the first ever open water swim but much to the regulars amazement they not only took the plunge, they completed 2 circuits of the course without wetsuits.

A fire pit and a hot drink was ready and waiting for the four as they emerged onto dry land.

Our two charities for the year have received numerous donations for the efforts of the team.
