Leading Stockport law firm, Gorvins Solicitors has performed strongly in the first half of the financial year to 31st May 2014 and has bolstered its 100 strong team with 12 new appointments across a range of departments to meet the growing demand for its services.

Managing Partner, Lorraine Lockie said “Our performance in the first six months of the year is a testament to the success of our clients and the hard work of the team. We have started the second half well and expect the full year to improve on our achievement of 7% growth in fee income in each of the last two years. It was also pleasing to see the Firm surpass challenging cash flow targets, as we continue to focus on Financial Management.”

The Residential Property & Conveyancing department has welcomed the largest number of new arrivals including the team’s key hire, Adrian Taylor, from Cheshire who has joined as Head of Department.
