About Julian
Julian joined Gorvins in March 2026 as a partner in the Corporate and Commercial team and has been qualified for nearly 40 years.
He has acted for owner managed businesses for most of his career. His expertise is in drafting bespoke commercial contracts and negotiating complex mergers and acquisitions. Julian likes to see himself, not just as a lawyer, but as a businessman who offers legal services to businesses. He advises clients not just on legalities, but on strategy, and will often attend board meetings in that capacity.
His clients range from start-ups through to well-established businesses with turnovers in excess of £50,000,000 across a variety of sectors with a particular emphasis on the food, transport, construction, manufacturing and leisure sectors. Clients stick with him, as evidenced by the fact he is still acting for a national fire prevention business which was one of his first clients when Julian was a newly qualified solicitor in the last Millenium.
Julian is a fluent Spanish and French speaker and is always looking to develop business relationships abroad.
