With 2025 well underway, we have taken the opportunity to reflect on the cases we concluded in 2024. The results have highlighted a resounding success rate for our clients.

Where positive prospects were advised, our success rate was 97.37%. Of those cases, almost half of matters were discontinued before trial, several clients were acquitted after trial and the majority of matters resulted in a good outcome (a better outcome than had our clients not sought legal advice).
We made numerous successful Exceptional Hardship applications, enabling our clients to retain their licences where they otherwise would have faced a 6-month disqualification under the totting up procedure.
We are particularly pleased to see a 100% success rate on DVLA appeals, where we had advised positive prospects, and all these clients were able to get their licences re-issued and are now back on the road.
In addition, we obtained multiple Defence Costs Orders in 2024 in respect of matters which were discontinued or where the client was acquitted. A Defence Costs Order allows a Defendant to apply to recover partial costs for their legal representation.
