Claire Beaumont has spoken to The Telegraph about does anybody still need to come into the office?

The article states that deciding how much physical space your business needs is becoming ever trickier in a world of cost-effective remote working and the gig economy.
And with increasing numbers of staff choosing to work from home, and contracting a popular choice for many workers, balancing staff numbers with appropriately sized office space is a dilemma for the businesses paying the bills.

Claire Beaumont advises organisations to try to agree regular or rolling break clauses in their business premises tenancy. “Break clauses offer periodic review points during the lease to serve notice,” she says. “However, a tenant must meet all the conditions of the break clause and landlords often impose conditions around payments that can be unclear and extend beyond just the rent.”
