Moira advises on will preparation and tax planning for estates of all sizes, together with probate procedure, offering a practical yet sensitive approach to help clients deal with difficult issues. She is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners, and can offer relevant advice on this rapidly developing area of the law.

Moira is also a member of the Court of Protection's panel of external Deputies, and acts as Deputy to numerous clients whose mental disabilities prevent them from managing their own affairs. She also assists lay receivers who act in capacity for relatives.

As a member of Solicitors for the Elderly, Moira also advises on issues affecting elderly clients such as Powers of Attorney and long term care planning.

Working closely with colleagues in the Matrimonial Department, Moira is one of a team of specialist solicitors who has acted for many police officers and their families in connection with wills and estate administration. When a marriage breaks down, a new will is usually essential to ensure that, should the worst happen, your estate will pass to the right people, or will be protected for your children's benefit.

Similarly, if you are acting as executor of a relative's estate, you need to know that you can call on expert advice from professionals with a thorough understanding of the issues to be dealt with. The private client team are dedicated to providing an efficient service to busy clients in a friendly and approachable manner.
