A member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners
(STEP), Moira advises on the preparation of Wills, tax planning and
the administration of Estates.
In addition, Moira is one of only 60 members of the Court of
Protection's Panel of External Deputies, acting as Deputy to
numerous clients whose mental capacity prevents them from managing
their own affairs.
She also assists lay Receivers who act on behalf of relatives.
As a member of Solicitors for the Elderly, Moira advises on issues
affecting elderly clients, such as Powers of Attorney and long-term
care planning.
Working closely with colleagues in the Family Department, Moira
is one of a team of specialist solicitors which has acted for many
police officers and their families in connection with Wills and
Estate Administration.
