David qualified as a solicitor in 1991 and joined Gorvins after
18 years at a Manchester city centre practice.
He has advised a wide range of corporate and commercial clients
on a variety of issues during his career and regularly presents
seminars on various aspects of litigation and dispute resolution,
focussing his expertise on resolving disputes arising from
shareholder issues and breaches of directors' fiduciary duty
claims.
David has experience in managing large-scale disputes, and has
enjoyed recent Court of Appeal success in a dispute regarding
commercial guarantees and the standard of proof required for an
interim payment.
David is an active member of the Manchester Law Society Council
and a Trustee of Medequip4kids.
