Dispute Resolution
If you're involved in a dispute it can be a very uncertain and
stressful business, especially with concerns such as how long it
might drag on, how much it's going to cost, and whether you've got
a chance of winning.
So it's reassuring to know that our Dispute Resolution Team will
provide practical, common-sense advice on dispute resolution and
litigation procedures, covering matters such as:
- Landlord and tenant disputes
- Boundary and property disagreements
- Conflicts with suppliers or service providers
- Problems with contracts
- Claims on the estate of someone who has passed away
- Professional negligence
- Problems with debt repayment
Wherever possible, we always try and settle disputes by
negotiation - and rather than go to court, we'd prefer to use
Alternative Dispute Resolution (known as ADR) methods such
as mediation and arbitration. These procedures are more informal,
involve less conflict and stress - and are usually less
costly.
Sometimes, though, court action is necessary - and when this is the
case, we'll represent you and your interests with robustness and
vigour, fighting your corner every step of the way in order to
secure justice - and the best result for you.
